Seeds in the Void: My healing journey, Finding myself again and reclaiming my soul
Jul 11, 2026

You might be here because...
βοΈ Your mind won't stop.
βοΈ You're feeling overwhelmed.
βοΈ You're overthinking everything.
βοΈ You're searching for clarity.
βοΈ You're carrying too much.
What happens when you feel lost, pause and begin again
What a season this has been. was one I’ll never forget—a quiet, raw, transformative pause.
Almost six months ago, I gave myself a rare gift: a sabbatical. I stepped away from the noise, the endless to-dos, and the relentless push. I craved space to breathe, listen, and simply be.
What unfolded was pure magic. I refer to it as the Void.
Since COVID, something within me just didn't feel quite right. Not that I was unwell... but that something felt unbalanced.…..on reflection, I must have wandered through a void—dormant, heavy, uncertain. Anger bubbled up, so I retreated into quiet. Tears sometimes unknowingly flowed, and other times I would just dance through them, letting them cleanest my soul. Never really feeling like me—who was that anyway?
The Void was messy, uncomfortable, sometimes scary, i became pretty impatient, angry and lonely.....and then, unexpectedly, I would feel profoundly alive—so alive that I questioned whether I was a little crazy.
The Void isn't empty; it's fertile. Beneath the stillness, seeds of growth quietly take root, waiting for the right season to bloom.
It’s a place you can take cover to be still; I didn’t realised this until I was almost out…but it did reveal: transformation begins in the quiet; you have to hold space for yourself before you do it for others, you must be kind and patience with yourself, and the journey—even when it feels like it will never end.
What I gained was not what I thought I needed….Stepping back didn’t just recharge me—it remade me. My nervous system softened. My heart lifted. Seeds planted long ago now appear health, ready to blossom—giving me joy as I once feared my best work was behind me, my brightest days done. But in the stillness, that fear dissolved.
The truth? My best is yet to come. And so is yours.

A new chapter: Returning to myself at 60
In January 2026, I turn 60—a milestone that feels like a homecoming. After decades guiding others, I’m still learning, stretching, evolving. Life is a continual renewal. Like a tree, my roots deepen through every season: summer’s growth, winter’s rest, spring’s play, autumn’s harvest.
I embraced the deeper, wiser me, honouring my own healing and growth. Not always successful, but aiming to embrace the messy, beautiful process of becoming more me.
I’ve dusted off doubts, polished my crown, and rediscovered joy in unlimited possibility and my inner wisdom. I learnt failures, heartaches, and heavy seasons aren’t weights—they’re wisdom keepers. They helped shape me, a better version of me: stronger, and softer.
We often let the past bury us, and trust me, there were times it felt like it almost did, the light would always shine, my healing would begin and I’d get back on track….Turn toward it, and remember the miracles of my journey. I’m grateful for every lonely, happy, healing and transformational moment, lesson, and bloom.
This season became the inspiration behind Reclaim Your Soul: A Guided Journal—a collection of soulful prompts, reflections and embodiment practices created to help others pause, reflect, reconnect and find their own way forward.
The path ahead is brighter than ever. Let’s walk it together because nothing better than sharing with those you care about.
Much love and massive hugs
Sharon xx
