Why more information isn't helping you find clarity
Sometimes the problem isn't that we don't know enough, it's that there is too much noise coming at us.
You've read or listened to the books, podcasts, socials and saved the quotes, bookmarked the articles.....And yet somehow, you still feel stuck.
I get it! You're not lazy, broken or in need of trying harder—so please ignore those comments.
Clarity doesn't come from consuming more information. It comes from creating space to hear yourself and understand what you are consuming.

The Myth of 'Just One More Thing'
We live in a world that tells us the answer is always out there. One more course. One more framework. One more expert opinion.
But here's what I've noticed after almost four decades of working with people and navigating my own change:
The people who feel most lost aren't the ones who know too little—they're the ones carrying too much. Too many voices. Too many opinions. Too many 'shoulds', all this is drowning out the one voice that actually matters: their own.

What Clarity Actually Requires
Clarity doesn't require more input. It requires less noise. It asks you to stop scrolling, stop searching, stop asking everyone else what you should do and instead get quiet enough to ask yourself or journal these questions out:
-
What do I already know?
-
What am I afraid to admit?
-
What would I do if I trusted myself?
These aren't complicated questions. But they require stillness to answer honestly. And stillness is the one thing most of us have been avoiding.
Why We Avoid the Quiet
We are all same but different, so if you are avoiding the quiet (where the truth lives) it may be because facing some truth may have you feeling uncomfortable.
It might tell you that the relationship isn't working. That the job is draining you. That you've been people-pleasing so long you've forgotten what you actually want.
So we keep busy. Keep consuming. Keep looking for someone else to give us permission to do what we already know we need to do.
But no amount of information can replace self-trust.
And self-trust begins with listening.
One question for you to ponder: "What is one small loving step I can take for myself today?
Not ten steps. Not a plan. Just one.....
Want a guided version? I've created a 7-Minute Soul Reset meditation to help you quiet the noise and reconnect with yourself. In case you haven't yet experienced it, you can access it here. [link]
P.S. Prefer speaking to writing? Record your answers on your phone instead. Then listen back when it feels right — sometimes hearing your own voice makes the truth even clearer.
